The governing body for riding establishments in the country, and in other areas of the world is the 'BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY'. Shardeloes has been approved by the BHS for some years now.

It means we have annual detailed inspections with reference to health and safety, organisation and suitability, giving all newcomers a guideline with reference to the quality of the centre.

The BHS are always there to give us support and advise when needed.

As a BHS approved centre, we offer a variety of courses for those of you wishing to take up a career with horses, or indeed just take your training a little more seriously.

Internationally recognised examinations from Stage 1 (for the novice rider) to the Full Instructors exam can be studied here at Shardeloes.

All courses are tailor made, either full-time or part-time.
